Piergil Fourquié, was born in Paris in 1979. He studied at ENSAAMA (Olivier de Serres), a Parisian school of Art and Design before graduating with honors from a BA in industrial design from the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design in 2002.
In 2004, he worked as a luxury, perfume and cosmetics designer at Parisian design agency Cent Degrés. He then worked for Outsign agency as an urban furniture designer. Since 2006, he has been working as a freelance designer, sharing his time between Arik Levy’s studio and developing his own personal designs. From 2013 to 2015, he partnered with star designer Philippe Starck for whom he helped developing industrial products and furniture.
In 2015, capitalizing on eleven years of experience, he opened his own studio in which he offers consulting services for businesses, publishers and art galleries, advising them on global artistic processes as well as on every aspect of design, from object to furniture to space to luxury products.
