Roula Salamoun is an architect, designer, and founder of an eponymous multidisciplinary studio. Through architecture, interiors, and product design, her practice operates at the boundaries of analog, digital and experiential design.
Her creative process combines the experimentation of materials with the exploration of organic forms inspired by landscapes and natural morphologies. Her surprising associations of textures along a statement color palette are a call for both tactile and visual sensory plays.
Roula Salamoun earned her Bachelor of Architecture with distinction from the American University of Beirut in 2007 and pursued her graduate research at Columbia University in New York in 2011, where she was awarded the William Kinne fellowship.
Her work has been published in prominent publications. Domus magazine listed her amongst the designers to watch, while AD Middle East nominated her as "Emerging Designer" of the year 2022.
