Piergil Fourquié

Mursi is a low table collection based on colored silver-plated blown glass. It showcases the know-how, the proficiency and the traditions of master glassblowers from Nový Bor in Czech Republic, whose expertise lays in Bohemian crystal. A Mursi low table's cantilevered tabletop is composed of a metal disk in a sheath of silkscreened leather powered with metal pigments. The idea was to associate the most innovative techniques with traditional craftsmanship and luxury applied arts. The pattern is composed of a multitude of more or less visible cubes that seem to give off a glimmering vibe as light hits them.
