Unique piece
Graizon and Duranté, both passionate about materials and craftsmanship, had the desire to develop lighting fixtures by trying to contain organic patterns in geometric shapes, as well as assembling heavy and very light materials.
They soon focused on snakeskin and its complex structure. The idea was born to create a lamp deconstructing this material: Sébastien made a bronze base using a python skin mold created years before for Pierre-Louis, reactivating it and taking it into a whole new materiality thanks to the lost-wax bronze. The lampshade is in opaque felt, allowing light to pass through a snake's molt.
Then, a second lamp was imagined. The piece continues to question the structure of snakeskin, with a silvered bronze base offering a more geometric form.
