The Blocks collection was born from building 101, or in other words, from the very basic piling of bricks on top one another. The aim was to reinvent the basic shape of a brick, using exceptional materials. The blocks of metal are welded together and plated with brass and copper for a luminous finish. Each block is piled on top of the others within a solid structure that emulates light reflectivity. This structure forms the basis on which is supported the cast metal of the tabletop. Metal and wood sharply contrast with each other which enhances the warm golden light that is reflected on the floor. The charred surface of the oak tabletop was polished soft and smooth and the fine wood grain is showcased to perfection.
